Description: Dr. Preet Bhogal is a registered Specialist in Orthodontics with the General Dental Council (GDC). He undertook his Specialist training in Orthodontics at Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2005. In 2008, he obtained his membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Edinbugh.
His lecture on "Orthodontics: begin with the end in mind" will have the followinf learning objectives:
Revise the importance of orthodontic assessment.
Practise comprehensive orthodontic assessment.
Understand the aetiology of malocclusion.
Formulate a problem list and treatment plan.
Learn to place a direct fixed retainer the quick and effective way.
The duty of monitoring long-term retention.
Dr. Boota Uhbi graduated from Liverpool University in 1992. He is an acitve member of the British Society of Periodontology, the American Academy of Periodontology and the Association of Dental Implantology. In 2000, after passing the Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons (England) he was entered onto the General Dental Council's specialist register in Periodontics.
His lecture on "Optimising soft tissues around teeth and implants" aim is to provide an update on the latest techniques to provide optimal soft tissues around both teeth and implants.
